Clint Watson
As founder and CEO of Creed Fitness, Clint has helped launch this company from a desk, two chairs, some blank paper, and a pen to a flourishing fitness business that positively affects the lives of hundreds. Clint is a 2002 Graduate of Oconee County High School.
While at OCHS, Clint played football and was a member of the 1999 State Championship team. After graduating from OCHS, Clint enrolled at the University of Georgia, obtaining a BS in Exercise Science in 2006. While at UGA, Clint walked on briefly with the UGA Football Program. A little known fact is that Clint is the grandson of the legendary Charley Trippi. In 2009, Clint opened Creed Fitness in Watkinsville, GA, and currently owns two locations with an additional facility located in Athens, GA. Additionally, Clint is a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and Professional Performance Coach.
His favorite part about owning/coaching at Creed?
I enjoy seeing people’s lives impacted beyond just physical fitness. I love seeing members lose body fat, gain strength and gain cardiorespiratory endurance but all of this pails in comparison to their life being impacted beyond just the physical.
Noah Steele
Noah was born and raised in Oconee and graduated from UNG with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a concentration in Health & Fitness. He is NASM certified and has been working out for over 10 years.
He loves to cook, go on walks with his chiweenie dog and always enjoys finding a good sweat treat as well as working out with friends! His fitness goal for the year is to get basketball handles for the RECs adult basketball league.
His favorite part about working at Creed?
One of my favorite things about working at Creed is watching the members build up their confidence in the gym and OUTSIDE the gym once they can see their progress in the gym from being consistent.
Julie Gordon
Julie is originally from Scotland and has lived in Athens for almost 20 years now! She has a PhD in biology and currently works in the research lab at the UGA vet school.
When she joined Creed back in 2014, it was the first time she had ever set foot in a gym.
In her own words, “I didn’t know what a burpee was, had never touched a barbell or a kettlebell, didn’t know what AMRAP, EMOM or WOD meant and had never ran in my life (except when I was forced to in high school PE class).” 8 years later and she has fallen in love with the fitness lifestyle and Creed culture so much that she decided to join our coaching team! She has been coaching with us for about 4 years now and loves the opportunity to get to help others in the same way Creed coaches helped her get to where she is today.
In addition to working out at Creed, Julie loves obstacle racing and rucking (the more miserable the better!) and has run (and rucked) many half marathons!
Her favorite part about coaching at Creed?
I love working with people that are in the same position I was when I first joined. I enjoy watching them learn new things, challenging them with heavier weights and encouraging them to push themselves harder than they thought they could.
Andrew Medina
Andrew Medina has been a coach at Creed fitness for 6 years and has almost a decade of industry experience under his belt.
He has his ACE certification along with his NASM CPT and is always seeking new ways to learn more in the world of fitness and nutrition. Outside of the gym, Andrew especially enjoys spending time cooking new recipes in the kitchen, playing any sport he can and leading a men’s group with his local church. If you see him around, be sure to ask him what goals he has set for this year!
Lindsey Cowart
Lindsey is from Twin City, Georgia and has over 5 years of coaching experience in rehab and personal training. She currently also serves in the Air National Guard!
Jessie West
Born and raised in Oconee County, Jessie has strong ties to the local community and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of fitness to the Creed community.
With a background in sports rehabilitation, Olympic lifting, CrossFit training, and athletic programming, he is deeply passionate about overall fitness and well-being.
Jessie’s wife, Taylor, has been a member since 2015 and got Jessie plugged into the Creed scene in 2016 when Jessie left Atlanta for a local firm in Oconee County. It was here that Jessie discovered his passion for functional fitness and coaching, leading him to start coaching in 2017.
Dedicated to the power of efficient movement, Jessie is committed to guiding others toward better health, increased strength, and overall well-being. Whether in a group setting or one-on-one, his focus is on empowering individuals to lead their healthiest, most active lives.
Caroline Duncan
Caroline is from Dacula, GA and graduated from UGA with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Criminal Justice. Currently, she is working towards her Masters of Social Work at UGA - she plans to graduate in May 2025!
Caroline has worked out at Creed for almost four years, and is currently pursuing her NASM personal training certificate. She enjoys various types of fitness outside of weight training, such as a running (fun fact: she’s run 12 half marathons!), spin, yoga, soccer, and pickleball. She is a music lover, an avid concert-goer, and a huge reader.
Favorite thing about creed?
The community at Creed is the biggest reason I’ve stuck around so long! I feel seen, known, loved, and encouraged by Creed members and coaches alike – that is something you won’t find at every gym. Of course, also love a good barbell movement (esp cleans!!) & curating a fun EDM playlist for class!
